One challenge I often encounter when working with weddings is communication with individuals in high stress situations. Keeping documentation easy for all parties to understand and track has been something I am experimenting with as well as methods of communication. Some client communicate better on a phone call or video meeting while others prefer email or comments on documents. Currently I use google sheets to help track progress and allow clients to see progress and help track what they need to do but I find this to be a challenge when they are often using their phone to view. I would like clients to communicate what they have completed, when, and any details so I am experiementing having them place the information in the spreadsheet themselves and I think it will take more experimenting to find a way to make this easier for them.
